A few late notes:

Two items in this mailing ...

First of all, if we're gonna re-select the venue for Saturday dinner, we
need somebody to say definitively the name of the place, and this has
to happen before tomorrow morning.

We have a whole litany of suggestions, and I am going to decline to
select one myself. The only thing we seem to have a consensus on is
that nobody wants Palace Station. :)
. . .

JB is reporting that RHPS is dead, at least for us this year. JB has
suggested replacing it with the Show Du Jour at HM's in the same
timeslot.

Unless I hear any objections by 0700 CDT tomorrow, I'll make that
change.
. . .

Some of you may have inadvertently received a copy of a note which
went out to the check-in team members a while ago today. You may
safely ignore it. Pilot error.

Saturday (buffet) dinner:

>Coast.

South Coast would be a good choice, with one major problem for that
Saturday, timing.

South Coast is a good 20 minutes (at best) away from the Spotlight (for
Happy Hour) and the Sahara (for the show). With the added 40 minutes or
so travel time in there, I forsee a major time crunch for those who want
to do HH and/or BW.

>>All we really need is for somebody to suggest something definitive
>>and we can change this.

>Again, how about Tony Roma's. Would it be too crowded on a Saturday
>night? Or maybe PF Chang's. What about Cozymel's. Lot's of options.

All of those would work, and would not have a 40 minute to and back
time-killer for those who are going to the show.

The big problem now is that we're approaching the 59th minute of the
11th hour and we need to make any decisions within a few hours at most.

If the group here can come to a consensus of the new venue no later
than 0700 CDT tomorrow, I'll mark it on the final schedule. If not,
I will note that the venue will be decided upon at the Happy Hour.

I hate to leave anything so iffy, but it's clear that the group here
does not want Palace Station, and I don't see a consensus at this time
WRT a replacement.

RIP RHPS:

Unfortunately, I have to agree. This is one thing that just didn't
work out. :(

>I respectfully suggest we consider inserting the Hamburger Mary's drag

Let's put this down as a drop-in replacement for RHPS. I know the RHPS
fans may be disappointed, but having it on the schedule fills the
missing piece to an extent.

Thanks for doing the legwork in checking this situation out. :)
