Thanks to those who tested the registration. It now looks like we have
14 non-test registrations in. (Labwomba? Ha-ha, very funny. It looks
like we have a '733+ 4@x0r among us. :) Are you *SURE* you want *YOUR*
name tag to say that?) :)
There were (and still are) some issues on last year attended and times
attended. I'm trying to correct these manually. Everything from dupe
registrations to the wrong line getting checked on the sign-in sheet.
One report of "gobbledegook" on the screen. If anybody else got that, it
was debugging code, which is normally turned off.
The problem with a mostly blank screen when an invalid e-mail address
was retrieved has been fixed.
Flood gates will open this weekend. Film at 11.

Laundry List:
For those of you who are new to organizing DLV, We keep what I call a
Laundry List of open items and items that need attention and I'll update
it and repost it frequently as we approach DLV-day. Yes, some people
call it the "nag list", but it does let all of us know where things
stand and what needs to be done between the current point in time and
DLV time.
And, if you notice anything obviously missing, please write in and put
it in the next Laundry List.
Most of the current Laundry List items now have to do with the schedule
and activities, particularly the holes in the schedule, timeslots that
need to be filled, and the big burning questions.

If you're signed up to coordinate something and you know you will not be
able to make it this year, or for some other reason can't follow through
on your duties, please let us know as early in the process as is
possible.
Also, please do your best to keep in contact. If you change your e-mail
address, please let us know. If you're going to be out of contact for a
while, please let us know.
If your name keeps appearing in the Laundry List and we don't get any
response over several weeks, it puts us in a major bind. We don't know
if it's a technical issue, if you're majorly busy with other things, or
if you have fallen off the face of the earth. Please be communicative
even if it's only a note saying that you are still there and are still
active.
If we totally lose contact with you, and this has happened a few times
over the years, our only option is to assume the worst, and assume that
you will not be with us. We'll then have to get others to fill in for
what you've volunteered for. That's one reason I would like to see a
designated backup for the nontrivial activities.

Wednesday, Everybody: We don't currently have a feature evening activity
for Wednesday. Do we want an option night, such as another like last
year's mainstream/alternative night, another show, what?

daytime and evening activities. Dinner? Show? Consensus seems to be that
we need some kind of "big gun" in here, but what?

Thanks, Nora. Karaoke will probably have to be one of those "maybe"
things up until the very end unless somebody wants to take the effort to
do some further research.
I see Rainbow Lounge as either a "safe" option for Eating Out Night
and/or an "alternative" venue for a Mainstream/Alternative night.
