Thanks. I think something like Suede on Friday, followed by some kind
of social activity, will be quite well received.

Thanks, Nora. I think for Monday it's important that we get and keep our
people together, at least for the HH, dinner, and immediate postprandial
time.

We're not in a big rush to finalize Monday, IMAO, as it's most likely
one of the more mutable evenings we have, but we do need to be thinking
about it.

It will be the first evening, and the first time out for a number of our
people I'm sure, so I think that something social is in order.

Even if we don't do HH and dinner at Rainbow Lounge, it may be a good
item for later in the evening if they still have Karaoke there on
Monday. That's a fun and nonthreatening activity.

Thursday is probably not good, since that will be the Limo Tour and
will probably have a show before and maybe a "Pity Party" as a second
track option.

I think that Friday would work the best for the wedding, working the
reception into what would normally be our Annual Mixer. We don't have
to call it that, but have it serve that purpose.

I think we do have to set the day for the wedding as soon as we can.

My guess is that we'll most certainly get more than 50 at either a
Friday or Saturday dinner. We've seen 70 at Carluccio's.

>Unless we limit the attendees, which I would hate to see there may be
>problems. I would still prefer to have suede earlier in the week if we

If they would be willing to open Monday for a special function, that
would work out, but if that's their off day, they probably don't want
to. I think that Tuesday (Night Of The Soiled Doves) and Thursday (show
and limo) are not good nights for a Suede dinner, but Wednesday might
work. We have Eating Out Night in there now, but that's by no means a
done deal.

Is there any reason we couldn't have a HH, dinner, and Farewell
Celebration at Suede on the final Sunday? We probably would not get
as many as if we did it on Saturday.

It's your baby, you set the venue(s).

Although the circumstances were much difference, I thought that rotating
LW(o)G at Pinkfest worked out well.

There's only one way to find out if it will work at DLV.

One thing I do want to see this year is that the LW(o)G is a consistent
check-in location. We just need to be sure to have somebody with one of
the check-in kits there each day.

>I'm also on for the walk-about, goodness knows I need to try to get my

Ok, thanks, I'll get that on the schedule.

>Now that we have a firm date I'll also be looking into the alternative

More shows will always be a welcome addition to the lineup. We do,
however, want to encourage maximum participation at a few of our
big social gatherings, which will most likely be in bars.

An additional show might be a good thing for something like a
mainstream/alternative night on Wednesday.

I don't have too many complaints about the Sahara, but over the years
we've collected quite a few, including:

Too many kids. (Ever see Circus-Circus?)

Redneck/Nascar leaning clientele.

Buffet. (I don't think it's *that* bad, but ...)

Still, since 2000 or so the Sahara has always collected the largest
group of our people. Maybe it's the price, but something has to be
getting people back.
