Latest updates:
Registrations continue to come in. We had quite a spurt a few days ago
when the general registration opened and we just zoomed over the 120
mark. When we get activity sign-up started we can start to get some
fairly accurate turnout projections, based on the show-up and fallout
rates the past few years. My guess, however, is still in the 120-130
range.
Numbers:
Validated primary attendees: 104
Validated SO's: 22
Total validated headcount: 126
Validations outstanding: 4
Web site hits are consistently in the 1200-1500 range per day, and the
mailing list keeps growing and is now at an all-time high of 548.

Big Sisters:
With the recent spurt in registration and the increase in requests for
Big Sisters, Nora informs me that they are currently running short of
Big Sister volunteers.
I would like to ask all of you to consider volunteering to be a Big
Sister and spend some time helping out those who are now taking those
first important steps out.
You will be able to specify things such as supporting primarily before
or during DLV, what areas in which you think you can help out, etc.

Evening Of Enchanting Lights will now be a mainstream option for our
Mainstream/Alternative Night.
Ginger, are you still "go" on a mainstream bar option for Monday?
This will also clarify that we have an open timeslot after Eating Out
Night on Wednesday. We have previously discussed having an after-EON
thing at Zingers, but we had concerns that we were OD-ing on Zingers
with all of the other activities there.
Thoughts? Comments? Ideas?

Eating Out Night and Wednesday happy hour:
I went thru my notes and I'm showing the following hostesses and
restaurants for our Eating Out Night on Wednesday evening. Please take
a look at this and let me know if anything is incorrect or if I'm
missing anybody.
Annie: Probably Milano's
Crystal: Nathan's (NYNY)
Lorraine: Paco's (Sahara)
Michelle: Bertolini's (Caesars)
I might suggest to the hostesses to pick a bar in the vicinity of your
restaurant for Happy Hour if necessary. I'll be using Freezone for HH
since Milano's does not have a liquor license and out of the three
bars I know of in that area (Buffalo, Double Down, Freezone) I think
Freezone would be the best.
Anyway, if you want to have a HH somewhere other than the restaurant
you selected, please let me know and I'll get it on the final schedule.
