This is the DLV 2004 Organizational Mailing List (dlvorg@geekbabe.com)

Feedback needed:
We need some feedback regarding our proposals for our Tuesday evening
and Saturday evening activities, particularly the one for the dinner and
show for Saturday.
Is this (Bad Attitude's dinner-show proposal) what we wanna do for a
feature activity on Saturday evening. My impression is that it's a
semi-pro drag/fi revue, with perhaps some variety acts. I don't know the
venue, but I was told they have previously had things like this at
Tramps.
Anyway, I don't want to leave them hanging.
Are there any other ideas or proposals for Saturday evening.
. . . . .
Also, no objections or alternative proposals for Tuesday evening have
been received. Now is the time to speak or forever ...
. . . . .
Golf ... Mindy has suggested moving it to Thursday. Golfers?
If no comments come in shortly I'll move it on the schedule.
. . . . .
Today's good news is that as of this time all registrations are
validated and the count is now 46 + 10.

+>Thank YOU for your consistent encouragement and promotion. One of the
+>best highlights of my performances has been perfroming for you
+>wonderful ladies. I look forward to your convention and I will make
+>sure that I can perform for you ... whether at the same place... now
+>called Tramps... or at another place... I do not want to miss being
+>named ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR for 2004.
+Hi Michael,
+We're in the process of putting together the schedule for DLV 2004, and
+although things are far from solid, the calendar is filling up.
+I can envision a number of places where you can fit in:
+1. Possibility of a show similar to that we had last year. The evenings
+where that would fit would be Wednesday or Saturday. We do have a dinner
+scheduled on Wednesday (at Hard Rock) but no postprandial entertainment.
+2. Dinner/show on Saturday. As of this time, Saturday evening is wide
+open. We do have one proposal for a dinner and (drag/fi) show made by
+one local merchant, but this is just in the proposal stage.
+3. Getting a group together to go to wherever you are currently
+performain (Bootlegger, Greek Isles, IP, whatever).
+Anyway, let us know your thoughts and what will work for you.

I know that the mixture of testosterone and alcohol is explosive under
the best of circumstances, and adding TG's to the mix will not help.
Yes, it's tempting to try to fit in with the crowd at the trendy clubs,
but let's face it, most of the women there are size 5-7-9 twentyboppers.
I agree that leading those who cannot adequately blend into such a crowd
is asking for trouble.
It's also been brought up that those who "hit on" gg's in mainstream
locations, or try to use TGism as a "chick magnet" attract a lot of the
wrong kind of attention while attempting to do so.
I think that the principle that was brought up in the last mailing holds
true here as well, and that is to have fun, but not at the expense of
others.

There is! All kinds of things to do, like pigging out at buffets,
visiting cathouses, getting gooned on Galiano [sic] and losing $$$ in
the casinos. :)
But seriously, one thing I noticed last year that made the number of
SO's seem less than what we showed on the rolls was the fact that many
of those who are local to Las Vegas put "y" on the SO attending field
even though they will not attend everything and will not be as obvious
as the out-of-town SO's will be.

Ok, let's leave it on the schedule. Won't hurt anything. I don't see
any issue with two-tracking against the lunch with/out Ginger.

Uh, MCC is Protestant. They don't have nuns! :) If that's what you
meant. :)

Hmmm ... I don't know for sure what the peak hours are at such a
business (yeah, right, how would I know???), but I would expect that
their business doesn't really start until later in the evening,
especially since their primary clientele are one hour away by car.

True. we might also consider what the non-side-trip doves are gonna do
for food that evening. If we have the post-trip thing at LVL, they do
not have food and there's really nothing in the area.
Maybe a general admonition to pig out prior to changing? :) :) :)

I would think your contact person would be the one to ask on this, as
I'm sure both $$$$ and small gifts would be appreciated, but they
may prefer one over the other.
