Welcome to "The Other Annie":

I had dinner and drinks with Annie the other night, and I suggested she
join this list, since much of our conversation revolved around DLV and
the various goings-on.

As all of you know, Annie had the misfortune of being in the wrong place
at the wrong time last DLV.

I think her input will be valuable to us. Please join me in welcoming
Annie aboard. :)

Gimme a ticket for an air-o-plane:

I'm going to pencil in air tours for Friday as well. If you want to
cancel or reschedule one of them when golf is scheduled, that will be
fine.

Thanks. I think they get the point across, especially the one regarding
the touchy subject.

Transportation:

Leah writes:

As I look back, it appears the transportation problems were mostly
isolated incidents, with a few (such as Sasha's on Saturday) that did
affect our turnout.

If we designate a definite pick-up time, such as 30 minutes prior for
most activities, longer for some, it takes a lot of guesswork and such
away from drivers and riders. Everybody knows that 30 minutes is the
expected time.

I think an addition to the FAQ might be helpful on this.
