HI,
I noticed that you are recomending the baymont on Halsted as a place to
stay. Living in the area i would recomend some of the motels at the
intersection of I-80 and Torrence avenue. There are plenty of good
places to eat, and shop as well as movie theaters in that area. Also
some of us from the Islanbd girls groupm will most likely be out in
Calumet City Friday night doing our usual Friday night club tour. 4
clubs-- 1 mixed gay/straight 1-lesbian, one gay and one a show club and
they all are accepting of us. Torrence ave. is closer to the
loop/downtown area also and a much safer/nicer part of town to stay in.
Many of the girls that come up to visit us at the Island Girls group
stay at these motels also.
If anyone wants directions I would be glad to email to them and maybe
even give room costs and a list of local restraunts and shopping
centers.
