Dear Annie and PFers, (gee, that sounds slightly naughty) :-)
>3. Saturday afternoon. I had placed some touristy stuff on the slate,
>but others had mentioned shopping at some specialized places. I want to
>do what will get us the most participation. The time is too short and
>Chicago is too nice a place to have people sitting in hotel rooms.
In my case, I hope I'm *sleeping* in my hotel room at that time of the
afternoon. :-)
>Anyway, here's the third draft schedule for your review:
>Friday, October 18: Afternoon: Shopping (Water Tower, Mag Mile)
> Evening: Dinner (Ed's)
> After: Baton Show Lounge and/or Gentry/State
We talked earlier about different start times for dinner and how that
would affect choosing to go to Baton versus Gentry after dinner. You
can still do both Baton and Gentry, if you can stay out late enough.
The issue was: could you reliably start and finish dinner in time to
make the first show at 8:30 at Baton and then go on to Gentry, or did
you want to stop in at Gentry first and then do the last show at Baton
at 12:30? Was there ever a consesnsus on that? And most importantly
for slow dressers like me, what time is dinner at Ed's on Friday night?
IMPORTANT QUESTION: Does anyone have first person experience with a
T-friendly nail shop in downtown Chicago?
