Very true. With one weekend, time is precious, and we want to go for
maximum participation time. :)

I agree. We should probably select a coffee shop or breakfast type place
somewhere near where it looks like people are staying. If nothing else,
I know the coffee shop at the Holiday Inn at Ohio and Fairbanks is good
and they used to have a very good breakfast buffet there. I don't know
if they still have it, it's been a few years.
Tina, is there a decent coffee shop in your hotel?

Some people will probably want to dress up a bit, or more than a bit, :)
for the evening, so it will probably be best if we select a place that
would be as you call it ALT. I've mentioned one, and Tina posted a whole
slew of them. Now we just have to select one. :)

Actually, I think we have a very good mix of mainstream and alternative
venues.

Sounds good to me. :)

I'm not jumping up and down at this either. One for the mention of slow
service, two because I get the idea that people will want to converse
over dinner, and with a "state of the art sound system" and roving
(got yer dollar bills handy, gang?) performers, this might not be easy.
