>Tina, is there a decent coffee shop in your hotel?

I don't know. I never wake up early enough for breakfast. I vaguely
remember that food service was somewhat limited (thus I never ate at the
hotel) and that I ate lunch at restaurants down the street. The lunch
portions were so large that I brought them back and finished those
before going out in the evening (after my nap, of course).

Friday: can't remember the name, but very nice restaurant just a few
doors down. Saturday: sports bar, ugh. Sunday: Pizzaria Uno (a
place I visit every time I'm in town, but in boy mode, not t-friendly).

Whenever I think of Chicago, I think of great restaurants.

Too bad about the Mashed Potato being closed. I really liked that
place. Although I suggested the Kit Kat, I am also turned off by the
abundance of negative reviews. (Every place at that site has some
negative ones, but these guys have a lot. Of course, some of my
favorite places in other cities just get trashed by these individual 1st
person reviews.) Since they're open until 1 AM, I might try to stop by
for a late night dessert and drink at the end of the Saturday night bar
tour and check them out, but you're probably right about picking
somewhere else for dinner. Also, the individual reviews definitely
complained about it being loud.

So, out of all the places mentioned, is there an actual suggested place
on the table?
