Las Vegas next week:

I sent a note to those I know are in the LV area, but with so many on
the list, it's hard to know who is and who isn't ...

As I've mentioned, I'll be in Las Vegas next week.

If anybody would like to get together, for a drink/chat/etc., please
let me know by return e-mail. (annie@annie.net)

I'll be arriving Monday evening, December 6th, and departing the
following Saturday morning. Although most of the daytime is taken up,
most evenings are free. Tuesday is the only evening that I may be busy.

In fact, I think it would be super if we could maybe get a group
together, like maybe Thursday or Friday evening. If you would be
interested in this, please e-mail me and let me know whether
Thursday or Friday will be better for you.

As usual, I'll be carrying the pager (ball and chain), so I'll give
instructions on how to contact me to all who are interested.

Looking forward ...

Tina reports:

>Well, bad news about the Folies tour. I called them (finally!!), and
>they don't do it anymore. They told me they quit doing it about 2
>years ago because of all the animals they keep. They use a lot of live
>animals (horses, elephants, etc.) in their show.

Ok, we'll regretfully scratch that one from the list. :(

>I'm so disappointed, and I know that all the DLV girls will be to. It
>may not be much consolation, but the Tropicana does have a cute Web site
>for their search for the ultimate showirl at

>FYI, Folies tickets are $59 for the VIP booth seating.

Not too high, but a bit higher than the shows we've been seeing ...

>Something else interesting that I learned during my phone call with the
>Tropicana is that they were supposed to be the host site for the first
>annual "International Las Vegas ShowQueen Pageant for Pre-Operative and
>Post-Operative Transsexuals", originally scheduled for Valentines Day
>in Feb of 99, then postponed until Memorial Day, and finally pushed
>back until 2000. Info is found at

Interesting page. Too bad they don't say when in 2000 the thing will
happen. I wonder why they keep postponing it?

I notice <lol> they offer rooms for the "special group rate" of "only"
$105 per nite. <rofl!>

Seriously, the Tropicana is reputed to be one of the more GLBT friendly
of the major hotels. They've hosted "alternative" affairs before.

>A shopping spot people might want to check out (I haven't been there,
>but it looks interesting) is Emerson Customer shop, where they can
>custom make showgirl outfits and they sell Ben Nye makeup products.
>They are at

Interesting page. If I get some time next week I'll try to swing by and
see what it's like. I can see from the page that it caters to the
professional performers. The shop is in the same general area as the
one bar we visited at DLV 1997 (choices). I'm sure we can arrange a
trip there if there is interest.

>Finally, there is a news article regarding the decline of the Las Vegas
>showgirl at http://www.lvbusinesspress.com/news/columns/99020807o.html

>I'll let you know if I hear anything else relating to showgirls and
>Vegas glam.

Thanks tina. :)

Golf, tennis:

>>>I for one would love to go golfing!!!! I've got just the skirt!!!

>How about tennis, anyone?

This will also be an option almost anytime. Some hotels do have
courts, but I don't know off hand which ones.

>I would just love to get a tennis skirt.

Uh, then just do it. :)

Curious:

>Just curious, where in Vegas do you live?

Uh, at the Stardust, usually, and the Riviera, if they are booked.
<lol>

>And do you like
>it there?

Uh <lol> I love it there! :)

Seriously, I don't live in Las Vegas, and I don't think I would like
to live there.

Divine Decadance:

For those of you who "lost it" at RHPS last DLV, the cast has some new
pics up ...

>To handle the the volume of pictures of Divine Decadence, we have made
>a seperate photo site at

>If you are so inclined you can also post a message on the chat board
>there, schedule a chat, although anyone can post a picture to the photo
>album, we do ask that it be limited to Divine Decadence in subject. It
>is set to an adult level because of the potential adult content.
