Fall Harvest 1999:

For those of you who made it to Fall Harvest, I hope you enjoyed it as
much as I did. :)

For those who missed it, it was a real goodie! Pics coming soon.

Wow, that would be SUPER! Thanks in advance.

That sounds similar to the van I rented last year, which was a Plymouth
Voyager. It had seats for six, but I think we squeezed as many as eight
in there once.

That's fine, the offer is appreciated, and we'll wait on your answer.

Your schedule will most likely work out fine. It's the weekend days
when we will need the extra capacity.

>If you think you want this, I'll try to plan on it.

Yes, thanks again. We already had a semi-volunteer to drive a second
van, so if you can't do it, we're probably still covered.

Misc. feedback:

>The schedule looks fine to me with one exception. That is the bar/club

Any night will be an option for clubbing after hours. After our opener
last year, some went to the Keys, some went elsewhere, others just
crashed.

Again, RHPS is optional, and as has been said many times, it's not for
everybody. Personally, I've seen it >50 times, and love it each time.
IMAO, it is an acquired taste, kinda like Galiano. :) Those who don't
want to do RHPS can go to the clubs or whatever. There will never be
a lack of activity, things to do, and people to do them with.

For the meeting room to happen, a number of things will have to fall
into place, including:

1. There will have to be a demonstrated demand for it, both by those
who say they want it, and those who put their money where their mouths
are.

2. Somebody will have to volunteer to find an appropriate room for rent,
negotiate a rate and terms, and make arrangements to collect the $$$
from the participants and pay the bill.

3. Somebody will have to volunteer to be the keeper of the room, to
open it when necessary, to be sure it is closed, etc.

There was a suggestion back a while to have somebody rent a suite for
herself, and have it double as the meeting room. This would be less
complicated, but somebody is gonna have to do it.

We do have a local (LV) person who has volunteered to look into this.
We haven't heard anything as of this time.

>Where to stay? I like a place such as the Comfort Inn on Koval.

I haven't stayed at the Comfort Inn in Las Vegas, but I have stayed at
them elsewhere. Most of the time they were fine, not counting a check-
in hassle last summer in Florida. :(

Koval is off-strip, but not that far.

>One
>can come and go without going through a casino, etc. Price is right.
>It is easy to contact each other.

That is a valid concern for some. Some just don't like the crowds, and
some are still a bit shy in public. As we discuss places to stay, we
should keep this in mind. Most Las Vegas properties are hotel towers
with central elevators, and yes, they are busy with activity 24*7.
