I looked ahead into my crystal (disco) ball and see that these two weeks
are OK with my 2015 calendar.

a. - Week beginning Sunday, April 26: Nonoted issues.
b. - Week beginning Sunday, April 19: No noted issues.

I have a slight pref. for 4/26 over 4/19. Otherwise, prefer the later
date as further past cold & flu season.

I hesitate to mention this, because I can attend DLV in March, however
as you know, my ability to get a week off from mid-April to mid May is
always quite limited, making my attendance iffy.

Personally, I am OK with any of the three timeframes. I want the one
which will give us our greatest turnout, leading to maximum enjoyment
and satisfaction.

A few comments and responses to comments ...

We've discussed the date conflicts between us and other TG events many
times throughout our history. In most of the previous cases, we (DLV)
have been the stronger of the conflicting events so we haven't worried
about it much.

In the case of Keystone, it's probably a coin flip to decide which of
the events, DLV or Keystone, is stronger as far as drawing potential
attendees from the other. However, the two programs are so different
that I doubt that many individuals will be truly torn and will have any
difficulty deciding which event to do. Those who want a convention will
go for Keystone, and those who want a vacation will go for DLV.

Although it may seem somewhat unfair, the availability of those who on
record as major contributors to our program needs to be considered,
along with other factors, in choosing our dates.
