This is a very quick mailing to the ORG folks summarizing the sign
up process, how it's going, and requesting a quick sanity check on
the capacity numbers we have.

Big thanks to all who helped test the activity sign-up system.

We did find a number of minor items, and one very nagging one which
we may not be able to do too much about.

We had one additional activity which was scheduled and added to the
list after about 10 sign-ups were in. See below.

For the most part the sign-up system is running smoothly so we'll
start the main batches of activity sign-up mailings on Thursday.

One report of a missing sign-up was received. System logs showed
that it had been successfully sent to the MX receiver for the
domain. A resend was made.

There was one "Not Working" report which was traced to an infrequent
but persistent error which we do not have a handle on. At this stage
of the game, the best we can do is to request that anyone who gets
either a "internal server error" or "page cannot be displayed" error
wait a while and try again. :(

Reports:

For those who are in charge of the sign-up activities and want to
see the running sign-ups, please write in and we'll give you the
instructions on how to pull these reports. These are updated twice
per hour at approximately minutes 9 and 39. Anyone else who has a
"need to know" the acitvity sign-up details, please write in for the
instructions on how to access the info.

Likewise, anyone who has a "need to know" the attendee sign-up info
and projections, please write in for instructions.

Activity capacity:

We're asking all who are in charge of sign-up activities to please
look over this list and report any errors in the listed capacity.

This is the number at which the "FULL" note will be placed on the
activity sign-up screen. Typically we'll do a "split the difference"
between the actual sign-up and the machine-projected real-world
turnout unless there's a reason to do otherwise.

Anyway, please let us know if you want to change any of these.
