Monday touch-base:

This will most likely be the last ORG mailing sent out prior to
DLV. If there are any other organizational items which need to be
addressed, please send them in and we will get them out.

Again, BIG THANKS to all volunteers who helped to make DLV 2012
the success it will be! :)

All: Please check the Coordinator listing below to be sure it's
accurate and all of your assistants are noted. This will be what
goes out in the LFM, so if there are any more additions and/or
corrections, please say so prior to Tuesday evening.

Our close-to-final reconfirmed headcount now stands at 165. For
those who wonder why this only increased by one since the last
touch-base mailing, the cancellations and new registrations just
about balanced out each other this past weekend.

19 registrations are in the cancellation pending state, and all
but one or two of them will likely be cancelled. Six registrations
are now in various states in the pipeline.

Pre-DLV gathering:

We've had no further suggestions for a Pre-DLV gathering venue and
no objections to Mr. B's, so unless somebody screams loudly before
the LFM goes out, Mr. B's will be it.

There's been some behind the scenes chatter about visiting a certain
other venue as well, one which has garnered a lot of attention from
our group lately, :) but it's been tentatively decided to play that
one by ear and drop by if circumstances warrant.

Anyway, let's note "DLVers will most likely start arriving between
5 and 6 or so" for Mr. B's.

If you're in town this Saturday, please drop by and join us for a
drink and a bite. It's mainstream, but nonthreatening. Boymode or
girlmode, mainstream dress please. 3824 Paradise. East side of
Paradise just south of Sands/Twain. Cursory directions will appear
in the LFM if you don't know where this is.

Here's the story on where we stand with check-in this year, and
yes, we do want to cover the daily lunch, so if neither of the
primary check-in people plan to be present, we'll make arrangements
to hand off one of the check-in kits to you. We'll let you know
as soon as the check-in schedule is sorted out.

Ginger and Walter will be the primary two check-in volunteers this
year. They will each have a check-in kit and we'll be coordinating
things so that all of our major gatherings and many of the mid
size ones have check-in available.
