Motion seconded:

We have a second on Michelle's motion. It's now live on the
floor and open to discussion and debate on the motion.

Other date discussion and other items will be sent out in a
subsequent mailing.

Thanks, Kimberly.

The floor is now open for discussion and debate. Please feel
free to discuss your thoughts and feelings about the motion
which is open.

For some history, previously we've always nominated explicit
sets of dates (eg. April 1 - 6, 2007) for DLV. Our vote then
set the week in question (eg. first week in April), the length
of the event (in this example it would be 6 days) and the
start and stop days (in this example, Sunday thru Friday).

Michelle has suggested that we "unbundle" the week selection
and the days-of-week selection, which also determines the
length of the event into two separate but simultaneous votes.

Personally, I'm very neutral on this motion. On one hand,
I think "it ain't broke, don't fix it", and on the other
hand I don't think it will do any harm breaking it up into
the two concurrent votes.

IMAO, it's a group decision and I'll support what the
group decides.

Comments, ladies? (Gentlemen?)
