Dates and other business:
About a week and a half left for comments regarding dates for
DLV 2009. I would like to ask all of you, particularly those
for whom the date issue is of importance, to please plan to
check your e-mail frequently and read all ORG material promptly
during the first several days of September.

Will the timing for this work? Remember that Las Vegas is not
Broadway and doesn't have a standard curtain-up time, and shows
start and end continuously throughout the evening.
>(3) For the Limo Tour & Pity Party evening we could follow it
>with the Charles Bar having an earlier start at 1am !!!
Maybe Gina can find out what the story is, but I took the removal
of the signage and the dropping of the name of the bar to mean
that changes are impending.
Even if what we know as the Charles Bar is there in more or less
the same form next year, remember that Charles doesn't get there
until 2:00am.
>(4) The Limo Tour time slot could be changed to 8:30pm to 12

The big advantage of the two-tier pricing for the Limo Tour, other
than more room for those who want to pay for it, is that it gives
the person doing the ticketing some slack, the ability to fill
the cars. With a hard 6 per limo, it's possible that up to 5 who
want to go will not get to go if there's the lack of the sixth.
>Just a thought for discussion..... JoAnn
Thanks, JoAnn. :)

Help finding a DLVer:
A person of some standing in the community has asked us to help get
in touch with a certain DLVer. Both Ginger and I are drawing a total
blank as to who this person is.
The person is described as:
+" ... who lives in Texas on a street named for an aircraft company
+and who is a flyer." ... "This person was a key player in the Las
+Vegas vacation/Diva program and promoted it at various conventions,
+such as the 2007 IFGE session in Philadelphia. She is a very
+vivacious and out-going person with many friends within the TG
+community. I am certain that aviation was also a big part of her
+life. As recall, she lived on a private airport on a street named
+something like Cessna or Beech."
Does anybody here recognize who this person is referring to?

Dinner at Roy's:

By Roy's, I'm assuming you mean the place on Flamingo, kind of
east of Bahama Breeze and east of the main Restaurant Row area.
Is this correct?
>I've been generally pleased with their food and service and notice

Thanks, Kimberly.
What scale are you thinking of, meaning something small for Eating
Out Night, something medium for a multi-track night, or something
larger for a maximum-attendance thing?

If you want to produce a "pretty" schedule, I'm all for it,
and I can give you access to the raw schedule data, which does
change quite frequently as the date approaches.
My big question/concern is that you are willing and able to
do this on a very tight schedule, and are able to update it
on very short notice as the dates approach. Historically,
we've had activity and venue changes frequently right up to
the cut-off date, and some after the LFM has gone out.

I would still like to explore getting sponsorship to make a
printed map/schedule possible. Are you interested in heading up
and/or working on this project?
