Actually, I would suggest not doing that. I think the Wedding Reception
should focus on the happy couple, and not make them share the spotlight
with something else.

What I would suggest is this. Schedule something for Saturday afternoon
or early evening, somewhere, anywhere, even if it's just meeting at a
bar somewhere and having the social there. No sign-up, just show up.
Assuming the Garden Party totally disappears, we'll have a major hole in
the schedule for Saturday during the day.
If the Garden Party does eventually reappear, then cancel the bar thing
and do the Social at the GP.
That's what I would suggest, anyway. :)
