Various ORG items:
For those who are not aware, we had a major system issue here on
Wednesday morning. We're running on backup hardware for mail. If you
sent in anything between about 2200 on Tuesday and 0400 Wednesday, it
may have been lost. In which case, please resend.
I got most of the major stuff reloaded ASAP, but I will be in the
tedious process of slowly loading various backups over the next few
days.
LOL! If you can see this, Majordomo and Mlist are working. :)
If you got any strange bounce messages, please let me know, as I could
have missed something when bringing the backup machine up.
In the event that all mail to me and/or DLV should at any time fail, my
backup e-mail is {xxxxxx}@yahoo.com and I will check that frequently if
the systems and/or line here is down.

Rendezvous points ...
I'm starting to make up the map and directions.
For most/all of the carpool type activities, unless the individual
coordinators state otherwise (and please do so ASAP) I'm specifying the
Sahara Surface Parking Lot as the rendezvous point.
Sarona - Rendezvous point for the shopping tour? I show that Lunch With
Ginger will be at the Hilton buffet on Tuesday. Do you want to have the
group meet at the Hilton Buffet, or rather just outside of it?
Also, Sarona, for the Little Girl get-together and the SO gathering,
I'll do what we did last year and have them contact you directly for
directions. Is that what you want to do this year?

Do we want an in-town alternative to NSD on Tuesday evening? See
possible item below.
Any suggestions for a quick side trip or other touristy type thing for
Saturday and/or Sunday afternoon?
Any (more) thoughts about a post-Buck Wild get-together on Saturday, as
in Location?

When a show opens that really stinks (example: Dr. Naughty) the word
gets out very fast in the various Las Vegas lists and boards. So far I
haven't heard this about Buck Wild.
I think we can safely say that it will be at worst a moderately
entertaining evening. :)

Lucky Chengs is an institution. I had heard they were eventually opening
one in Las Vegas but I didn't know it was open. I didn't even know it
was under construction or even definite. I guess I lead a sheltered
life, huh?
Ye$, I agree, it $ound$ ex$pen$ive! :(
Anyway, I see a number of places this would fit on the DLV schedule,
either as a big group deal or a smaller one, including:
1. As the Big Show prior to the Limo Tour, in lieu of La Cage. From a
quick Google search it says dinner seating begins at 6:00pm with the
show continuous, so it would definitely fit our pre-limo schedule.
*** If anybody is in favor of this option, PLEASE SPEAK NOW, since I
do have La Cage on the schedule for Thursday and it will go out in the
general mailing on Sunday.
2. As an in-town alternative to Night Of The Soiled Doves on Tuesday
evening.
3. As an EON option and an alternative option on Wednesday evening.
4. As a dinner and early evening entertainment option on Saturday. (If
we would do this Saturday, I would say it should be in addition to and
not in place of Buck Wild, which starts quite a bit later.
5. As a dinner (in lieu of Palace Station) and show on Sunday evening.
