We now have a motion and second. The floor is now open, I guess, for
discussion on this motion.

If the question is called, I don't have any choice but to conduct a
vote on this motion.

Unfortunately with time allowed for discussion and voting, the date in
question (November 15th) will have passed. Under our standing rules the
polls for a vote are open until 48 hours elapses with no further votes.
This usually drags on for a period of 6-7 days as the votes trickle in,
making the motion as it stands effectively moot.

Another item is that until the question is called and voting is
complete, (or the motion or second is withdrawn) the floor is closed
to any other motions, which may be of more pressing importance.

You know my feelings on this already. I don't see how we can revoke the
November 30th cutoff without us, acually, without me looking like a
total jerk. :(
