Early mailing:
This is being sent out very early due to the number of things going on
and the time issues getting activity sign-up started.
I'm holding off activity sign-up until about 1900 CST Friday. Please
get any needed information by that time. This is a hard-stop drop-dead
limit on information for activity sign-up.

Place and Start time for Limo Tour
Tootsye writes:

Ok, 9:20pm it is.

Thanks, Tootsye, I'll get this in the final schedule along with the
usual admonitions.

Timing:
Ginger writes:

See notes below. :) HH at 5 is most likely easy. Cagle at 9 is not.

This sounds realistic.

Ok, I think we have a consensus here of starting HH at 5:00pm and dinner
at 6:00pm. Leah, can you please have Carluccio's adjust the start times.
Nora, Ginger? What time do you want to have announced for the SBS
Social?
>That's my $0.02 worth. :)
And worth every penny. :)
Thanks, Aiko.
We do need to ask for everybody's help in being sure that all Saturday
activities start on time, end on time, and that people keep moving. That
will be the day of our largest crowd, and also a somewhat tight
schedule.

Showgirls Of Magic:
First of all, if this is to happen, we will need a volunteer to step
forward and assist. This will have to be known by 1900 (that's 7:00pm)
central time Friday. If we don't have a volunteer on record as of that
time, it will not get on the activity sign-up screen.
Edy is willing to do the prelimiaries, all an additional volunteer
really has to do is take over for last minute questions, tickets, etc.
Edy writes:
>I talked to Mark at Show Girls of Magic tonight. He offered us tickets
>for Wednesday night April 27 for $20 each, total cost, providing we buy
>a minumum of 60 tickets.
Since Wednesday will be a split-track evening, I doubt if we will be
able to get 60. Even if 70% of the people who are in town that night go
for it (which is unlikely) it would not do it.
>Each ticket will include two free drinks. He did not say he would set
>aside tickets for us, so I guess there is always a chance we could not
>get 60 or more, as the theatre only holds 150.
Shows of that type seldom sell out on weekdays. I speculate that they
are now pulling back on promotion, since I know they are looking for a
new home for the show, so I'm sure seats will be available for almost
any number we could get.
>Of course, money in his hands would assure us getting the tickets.
>They seem more than happy to have us. I'll be in Vegas April 12 to
>April 26. I would be more than happy to get this organized.
Thanks, Edy. we do need somebody to pick up the ball from you when
you leave, and we're now under a time crunch to get things going
as far as activities are concerned.
If we get somebody to step forward by Friday at about 7:00pm CST,
we can get this on the calendar and I'm sure we would get 30-40 or
so to attend. That's my guess on a realistic number.
*** LAST CALL. Need volunteer.
We've always had a good working relationship with the David Saxe people,
so I know they do want our business and they have always been good to
us.

Matinee Movie:
Michelle (NV) writes:
>hey Annie im very interested in doing the movie matinee.
Ok, you're on the list. Just pick a day/time.
>Id like some feedback on interest and conflicts. i see for my schedule
>either: Movie, lunch, minigolf on tuesday; or Movie, lunch, Dance on
>Wednesday; or Saturday is pretty open also.
I see either Tuesday or Wednesday working fine.
On Saturday you're up against High Tea, plus an early HH, so I would
recommend against it.
Friday's schedule is now weaker, since we moved Carulccio's to Saturday,
so Friday would work as well.
>Major conflict is LMcruise on Tuesday- how many interested in movie
>that plan to go on the cruise?
You're going to usually be up against something no matter when you plan
it. My guess is that about 1/3 of our people at most will do the cruise
or any other daytime activity, so there will always be a large number of
potential attendees.
>I usually go to the Orleans Casino to go to the movies. That is
>located on Tropicana and Arville a couple blocks west of I15.
I will get that on the map of the activity locations.
If you want this on the activity sign-up screen, please get me a
timeslot by 7:30pm tomorrow.

Art tour:

Done!
Thanks Sarah. :)
