Holy Yahoo, Batman! Over the past few days we've seen hundreds of web
site hits referred to from various Yahoo groups, many of which I haven't
even heard of. Somebody has been doing a lot of posting of our link in
Yahoo.
Here's the groups that Monday's log shows: crossdressersinadulttheaters,
black_nylon_lover, EssenceOfJessica, BayAreaAsianTVs, allgroupsfree,
CaliforniaTransgenderedLounge, bayareastrapons, LVClubTGirlz,
Bi-MWM_CDers-Kansas, dragworld, crossdressingpassion, coloradotgirls,
barbiewoods, allenina, BOSTON_TS_EXOTICS, AustinCDandSH.
There are others, this is just one day's log.
. . . . .
Speaking of web hits, we've had over 1000 hits on the various photos
linked to as dress examples in the last general mailing. Unexpectedly,
the casual examples drew more hits than the dressy ones, with one noted
exception. The photo of Samantha and Cat (dressy) drew the most hits,
with the one of Michelle showing off for the goons running a close
second.

Activity sign-up:
I'm starting to prepare the list of activities that will need to appear
on our activity sign-up screen. Please look over the following and let
me know if I'm missing anything.
The one thing to remember, it's very easy to add other activities before
activity sign-up starts, but difficult and impractical to do it once the
sign-up process is underway.
I would like to have this solid by March 28, but the absolute drop-dead
cutoff is Wednesday, March 31.
If you're in charge of any of these activities, we will need to know the
following:
* Is there any deadline or cutoff date/time for sign-up for your
activity?
* What is the cost, if any, for this activity?
* How is the $$$ to be paid? At the activity? In advance?
* Is there any deadline for payment?
* Any deadline for cancellation for this activity?
* Any unusual or unexpected details about your activity.
I have the following items down as needing a sign-up and/or some kind
of other hoop jump:
Sunday: (nothing)
Monday: Trip to Rhyolite, Dinner at Hamburger Mary's.
Tuesday: Boat cruise, Bowling, NSD side trip.
Need to know/confirm price on boat trip, method of payment, etc.
I think I have all of the NSD info.
Wednesday: Hidden Woman Open House, Hard Rock Dinner
We need to confirm details of the HW Open house.
Thursday: Golf, Art Tour, GB Open House, V Show, Pity Party, Limo Tour
Need to know price and method of payment for Limo Tour.
I think I have all the info for the Art Tour, Pity Party, V.
I'm going to refer them to the golf list for golf details.
Friday: High Tea, Carluccio's Dinner
Need price, method of payment, etc. for High Tea.
Need to confirm details on Carluccio's.
Saturday: Garden Party, Michael Cagle Show
Need to confirm price and method of payment for Garden Party.
If there's anything I'm missing that requires some kind of an action
to attend, please let me know and I'll get it added.

Big Sister Report:
Jenni writes:
>We have had a fairly good response ratio thus far. Little sisters seven
>(7); Big sisters five (5).
>It would be a relief to see more big sisters than little. For those who
>would like to have an opportunity to help and see someone grow in
>their experience as a little sister in need, please register on line.
>We want to have 15 - 20% more big sisters than little sisters.
>Annie, please send out another call.
As you have probably seen, we did just that in the last mailing.
I would also like to ask everybody here on the ORG list, particularly
those who are not coordinating the major activities, to consider
volunteering to be Big Sisters.
http://www.geekbabe.com/dlv/bigsisvol.html
There's quite a bit of latitude in what you volunteer to do, so you can
volunteer for certain duties and not for others.

Limo Tour update:
Tootsye writes:
>The Limo tour time looks about right. That should give us plenty of
>time to get out of the big show at the Venetian, use the rest room and
>get to the Limo pick up point.
This year, I hope they read and heed the admonitions to not go to the
ladies room in groups. Last year it seemed like WHOOSH, all out of the
showroom and into the nearest ladies room in one big bolus. :( :(
>May even have time to put a few coins in a slot machine if the show
>doesn't run over time.
Assuming the show runs 90 minutes, final curtain will fall about 7:30,
giving about 1/2 hour between the show and the limo. This should be more
than enough time to hit the facilities individually and yes, lose a few
coins.
>We have just been waiting for the information on the big show!
And you now have it. :)
>We will need six radios if they are still available. Now that we have
>the information, we will bear down and finish with our part!
I will bring 2, I know Yvonne has 2. I spoke to Michelle on line the
other day and she will not be bringing hers, apparently there were some
customs/inspection issues with them last year.
A few questions: Do you know what the charge will be and the payment
arrangements? Any limits on number of people? Any special details
this year, as I want to feature this in an upcoming mailing?
How about refreshments? Are you handling this or do we need to get some
other volunteers to do this? Will the price include refreshments?
Thanks, Tootsye. :)

Golf plans:
Mindy writes:
>well the tenitive plan is for a shotgun start around 9 or 9:30.. with
>our special rules of play (more of this on the golf list to come) we
>should be finished on the course around 1:30.. given last years timeing
>we should be away from the golf course before 3 pm..
Thanks, Mindy. We just need to be sure that those who have show
reservations keep an eye on time and don't get delayed.

Mall promotions:
Mindy writes:
>also a special note regarding the mall shopping.. several stores wish

>for a special mailing or handout listing the stores and the discounts..
>to receive the discounts you would have to show a diva badge.. i think
>we can work this out
We will (again) have a Discounts And Promotions section in the Large
Final Mailing. This will go out the last week of April.

Hospitality Room:

>Ok, I guess that's it for now until we have a little better idea of our

What I would suggest you do it write up some details on exactly what you
have in mind. Let's get it published.
Speaking from experience, with only a few exceptions, any notice to the
effect of "Would anybody be interested in {whatever} ..." has not
elicited much response.
I'm all for an expanded slate of SO-oriented activities. However, do
keep in mind that we do also have couples that are not typical of what
are traditionally seen in t* groups and gatherings.
>By the way, our current project is building a tv studio for Wealth TV.
>You can check out their website at WealthTV.net. It's basically a new
>HD cable channel with shopping and features on wealthy people. :o)
>But the clients are very nice and lots of fun, so that works for us!!!
Sounds interesting, I will check it out, although I doubt I will qualify
for it. :)
>OK, until we have more news, I guess that's about it.
Thanks, Sandi.
