Latest numbers:
Registrations continue to trickle in.
111 reconfirmations plus 24 SO, for a reconfirmed headcount of 135.
With a 15-20% fallout rate, realistic total count will be about 108-114.
Three more voluntary cancellations. I hate to see these happen, but I
would much rather have them happen now than to have them no-show.
Four more involuntary cancellations for non-response, and two more
cancellations pending for same.
. . . . .
In my conversations with Aiko regarding the Area 51 trip, I've
discovered that several (not many, but enough to be significant) have
signed up for activities that fall outside their stated arrival and
departure dates.
I will not have time to write a batch to mail these out to the people
who did this, but they will be flagged on the personal itinerary sent
out with the LFM.
Yes, next year we can modify the sign-up and grey-out activities that
fall outside of the span of arrival and departure dates.

I don't know. Up to anybody who wants to do it. Remember that the schedule

Tina has already scheduled a thing at the Spotlight Lounge on Monday
evening (see mailing both org and general last week) and I don't want
to see that changed unless there's a compelling reason to do so. (Last
minute changes are driving me batty this year, keeping maps, schedules,
directions, etc. in sync.)
I would suggest Milano's for dinner Monday, mainly since I was kinda
planning to go there anyway, with or without company.
