DLV moves to Florida:
Votes are in, polls are closed --- finally.
As you will see from the votes below, the Wednesday Happy Hour, Dinner,
and possible show will be at Sasha's, as planned, with a fallback to
Tina's Freezone plan should Sasha's be unable to serve us that
Wednesday.
Leah, please finalize the arrangements. Tina, please stand by to put
your plan into place just in case it's needed. We thank both of you for
your service and your patience on this.
I would like to thank everybody for their input and ideas during this
"all hands on deck" issue.
In particular I would like to thank Ginger for her initiative in getting
the replacement dinner organized and ready to go if needed.
Although we will not be taking HRCafe up on their offer this year, I
think we should definitely place them high on our consideration list for
next year.
I would also like to thank Cat for contacting the various other places
and checking them out.
Out of 46 eligible to vote, 21 votes were received. Totals are:
A. Sasha's: 12
B. Hard Rock: 9
Last vote was received at 7:17pm CST Thursday and polls were closed at
that time today, just a while ago.
First vote came in less than a minute after the sending batch finished!
Since the vote is somewhat close, raw votes are posted with somewhat

Ok, Thanks. I'll get a note out about the clothing shipping that we

If at all possible, I would like to have it by April 14 (Monday) as that

I envision if this is not known by LFM time, and it has to be marked as
TBA and the word passed at DLV, that not everybody will get the word and
there will be a signficant fallout and lost business.

Yvonne (and anybody else who cares) I picked up a couple Audiovox FRS
radios the other day. $13 and change at Target'. I've been watching
and finally found them on sale. I think these may be handy for the

Kind of a moot point, but thinking in reverse, is there time to get in
something at Hard Rock Cafe?
I don't know about Thursday. I'm sure CGT has some kind of arrangement
at HM's and there will be no problems with the radio remote. Michelle,
can you comment on this please?
I had planned an informal dinner thing at Palace Station on Sunday the
27th, but I'm not gonna be heartbroken if somebody else wants to plan
one at HRCafe instead. If somebody does do it, I'll kill the Palace
Station thing.
Also, IIRC, Monique is planning to eat dinner there on Sunday. (Monique,
is that correct?) I'm sure anybody who wants to join in is welcome.
