Phone, Angles, etc.:

I don't blame you at all. AFAIC, doing phone traffic is far above and
beyond the call of duty as a DLV volunteer, I don't see anybody doing
it unless they *really* want to. We have very good e-mail support,
and, imao, those who are serious about attending will always find a
way.

I know we've mentioned Flex as a possibility for Tuesday, but nothing
has been decided yet. Yes, I agree that it would be an easy segue' from
Milano's across the street. Please keep us informed, as we will most
likely be calling the question within the next month or so.

I kinda have you down as a wildcard driver, meaning we would match you
up mainly with those not at the IP or Sahara. Please let me know if your
adopted group will exceed your capacity so I can mark you down as fully
taken.
>I'll keep you posted on ONYX.
Thanks. Comments about the Tuesday night venue, gang?

Reception, show, rates:

Thanks, Mindy. Realistically, I understand that since our group does not
have a playing history, it will have to be a cash bar.
We have some decisions to make, gang, regarding such things as the pre-DLV
gathering (see above) and the welcome thing. Comments? Discussion?

Ok, please let us know ASAP. This could un-complicate the ticket purchase
thing, whether or not we do LaFemme on Thursday or Saturday.

If you can get us an 800 number, I'll get that on the main list.
We really should post black and white rates if possible.

Alternate activities:

Looking at the schedule, just about any day would work. Friday or
Saturday would probably get the largest numbers.
Ladies? (Gentlemen?) Whadaya think? Which day(s) would be best?
>2nd. alternative track for sunday afternoon.. i have discovered the joy

{watching Tina's eyes light up ...}
Yes, I think there would definitely be a demand for this, and if this is
to happen, I would say we should make it the feature activity of that
time period, with the side trip as the alternate. As you may remember,
there has been an interest in dress-up daytime activities.
I can even see this working for Saturday afternoon instead of Sunday, if
you could do it then. Alternative could be the Mall Crawl that I've
semi-planned.
Comments, ladies? (Gentlemen?)
As an aside ... <bfg>

Somehow, I just thought of this picture, which was taken at Fall Harvest
a couple years back, when you suggested this. :)

Yes, I agree. My intent of the reschedule is to maximize the headcount
at both, particularly on Saturday, the feature activity of the peak
evening. I think we want a convenient and affordable show that night.
If we can get a method of payment for a Thursday LaFemme that doesn't
require a roadblock-style hoop-jump, I'm sure we can get a great turnout
for that as well.
I would also like to see a turnout for the limo thing that would take
multiple limos. We could keep things interesting by having people change
limos at each photo (or other) stop. :)
