Pinkfest

Pinkfest is a recurring annual event for members of the TG Community, including friends, family members, and guests, which occurs each October in Chicago.
Pinkfest has always used the "Vacation, not a convention" model popularized by sister event Diva Las Vegas.
Pinkfest was founded in October of 2001 by users of the Pinkmyst IRC network. Due to 9/11, another event which they had planned to attend was cancelled and the group decided to get together anyway. Chicago was chosen as the venue and it was unanimously decided to make it a recurring annual event.
