Different From The Others (Anders als die Andern) is a 1919 German silent film, co-written by Dr. Magnus Hirschfeld which was intended as a political statement against then-current anti-homosexuality laws. Dr Hirschfeld had a minor performing role as a physician, assumed to be Hirschfeld himself.

The film starred several well-known German actors of the era, including Conrad Weidt, Ilse Von Tasso-Lind, and Alexandra Willegh.

The film was directed by Director Richard Oswald and the Director of Photography was Max Fassbender, both veterans of the silent film industry.
