What Would You Do is a magazine/anthology television program produced by ABC news and hosted by John Quinones. It has been compared to the former long-running Candid Camera in that it records peoples' reactions to various unexpected and often awkward situations. The program airs irregularly but consistently on the ABC Television Network and reruns are shown on OWN and HLN.

Many LGBT and gender-related themes have been used on the program, including:

  • Young boy shopping for feminine Halloween costume.
  • Same-sex bride at unsupportive bridal shop.
  • Transgender waitress "coming out" to regular customer who turns hostile.

In all cases the nature of the scene is revealed as Quinones and camera crew make their appearance and explain the circumstances to those whose participation was to that point unknown.
