Roberto Granato

Roberto Granato is an Argentine-American urologist and surgeon who is known as a pioneer in the techniques of MtoF and FtoM Sex Reassignment Surgery.
In the 1970s, Dr. Granato was known as the "celebrity SRS surgeon of choice", practicing in Queens, NY, US. He was chosen by Dr. Renee Richards, herself a practicing physician, for her reassignment surgery.
Dr. Granato is now semi-retired. Although he trained his son, Roberto Granato, Jr., in his techniques, the younger Dr. Granato never gained interest in this particular field.
