Club 82 was a nightclub in the East Village section of Manhattan in New York City at 82 East 4th. Street.

Club 82 opened in 1953 and featured female impersonators and other stage shows. Judy Garland and Errol Flynn were among the headliners who played at Club 82 in the early years. In the early 1970s, David Johansen and the New York Dolls were regular performers. Lou Reed and David Bowie were said to be occasional guest performers.

Shortly after its opening, Club 82 was the scene of a brutal murder where one of the club's managers was killed in what was reputed to be a hit resulting from a mob dispute. Rumors abounded that the club was owned and operated by organized crime figures. Only the mob could keep a place like that open in the 50s!
