Hi all!

Some of you may disagree with this, but I hope not!

Michelle was right-on in observing that some attire can be, "pushing
well past the decency limits!" The genetic girls who are resident at
the establishment we are going to visit for the NSD event DO deserve
our respect!

While we can have fun with the way we look for this event, even here we
should show some restraint! I've been a little embarrassed about the
attire a few have worn. To put it mildly, some of have totally ignored
Annie's 30/130 rule*. We can all show some respectful moderation in
dress for this event and yet still have fun with it! As I wrote
earlier, selfish inconsiderate behavior is simply unacceptable anywhere.

I DO think everyone our group has shown respect toward the residents in
our interaction with them. [Perhaps some more than others :) ] I have
appreciated that and hope it continues. As was observed from the first
year of this event, both groups (them and us) are suspect in the mind of
the greater society and are often unacceptable to many if not most. In
those ways we have lots in common. Let's continue show them the respect
everyone deserves and perhaps they will keep inviting us back!

Let's all have lots of fun at this and other events and not wear out our
welcome here or elsewhere!

Ginger!

*The 30/130 rule interpreted: Those under 30 years of age and under 130
pounds can get by with lots more than those of us who are older and have
to go to the Co-Op to weigh!
