You do make a very good point.
Attending NSD has totally changed my image of the practitioners of
that particular profession. These are very classy ladies, and in
no way sleazy or trashy.

Actually, I can't claim this as original by any means. The 30/130 I
cite came from a discussion in a fashion newsfroup years ago from a
thread on older (40-50-ish) women wearing some of the "cutesy"
things intended for teenagers and twentyboppers.

True. We are both sociosexual minorities. Both groups are
unfamiliar to and misunderstood by the general public. We
do have this common bond.

I think we have developed a mutual respect. I was quite impressed
when I was told that a number of the ladies who were not "on duty"
that night made a special trip in for NSD! :)
