I agree with this. Last year (2003) I was there almost all the following
week and the temperatures plummeted to the 60's and low 70's for at
least a three of the days. It certainly was BELOW the averages stated
above for mid May!

According to the local weather broadcasts the weather we experienced in
2003 was unseasonably warmer than usual. IIRC we didn't have too much
wind either...except when we were playing golf which may have helped
make the temperatures particularly warm!

Its unfortunate but you need to prepared to take hot, warm, and cool
weather clothes to most DLV events. I think its probably safe to say we
won't need snow gear and while a Las Vegas downpour is exactly that the
chances of striking one don't appear to be too high. In 40 plus visits
over 24 years covering well in excess 200 days I've only been in one.
