I knew I had the exact numbers somewhere, I remember looking them up a
while back and yes, I found them ...
For the April 24-30 period (proposed DLV 2005), the average high
temperature runs 81-83F and the average low runs 56-58F. For the first
week in May (DLV 2004) the average high is 83-85F and the average low is
58-60F or about 2 degrees warmer on average for the first week in May.
I daresay that the average Jane is not gonna notice the difference, or
at least not think it's significant. Truth is, we could have 95F highs
during the last week in April and 70F highs during the first week in
May. It's just the roll of the dice.
