Hi Sara and Hi Kate!

I speak singularly ... only for myself.

For DLV I think going downtown is a good idea. If Golden Gate casino is
still there, they may be still selling shrimp coctail for under $2 a
cup. I remember a time when alot of casinos were offering shrimp
coctails for less than a dollar....but thats in the past.

Fremont also has this margarita, daquiri - mini casino place called
LaBayou. Originally they had about 10-15 flavors but have cut down the
variety. I've been there a few times, pretty good product. I've tried
different flavors, all good... strawberry, orange dreamsickle,
chocolate, watermelon...

Some tell me that the slots are more loose downtown. The casinos are
smaller, some darker, alot older, dirty, and maybe also smelly...or
trashy as in like a dump. Minimum betting is also smaller. I'm not sure
if the Plaza still has the 25cent minimum on the craps table. I was
when I was learning craps... $20 went a long way.

FOR me in particular, it would be a bad place enfemme. Downtown is where
MANY residence from my state go to LV to gamble. At least 4-5 casinos
are filled with them daily and I would be read more easily, and probably
run into someone who knows me, for that many go to LV daily... (about
2-3 filled DC-10s or 767s) They stay at the Fremont, Golden Nugget, 4
Queens, LVclub, California, MainStreet and others.

The Fremont experience area is safe at all hours because of the 24x7
very visable security, but don't wander off on the side streets...its a
bad area. Remember, Annie meet Lester the Molster drunk down
there....who wanted to have a date w/Annie.
