Hi, found more info if one is interested.....
One has to go through alot of hoops to get a permit.
Following Gina's and Denise's lead, seems those that are not from the
'connected' states have three choices:
1. Obtain a permit to purchase, time permitting and if qualified.
2. Hopefully the seller at the gun show is willing to treat it like a
out of state sale purchase, allows one to buy the item even though they
are out of state and no permit, and follows through with the shipping
and paperwork.
The dlv attendee doesn't posess the gun till the dlv attendee gets back
home and works with their local business or ffl holder to bring the gun
in from the seller.
3. IF the gun show seller refuses to sell to a no permit, out of state
person or refuses to treat it like a out of state sale, or not willing
to deal with shipping and paperwork...
We try to find a recommended LV store/dealer that will buy the firearm
from the gun show seller, the dlv attendee buys it from the dealer, and
the dealer treats it like a out of state sale, and follows through with
shipping and paperwork, probably for a fee.
Anyone local in LV knows any businesses we can go to?
prefereably t*friendly, that (probably for a fee) willing to treat it
like a out of state sale and the shipping and paperwork involved?
Ideas anyone? too much?
