Surprise surprise! :)
A while ago when I got the chance at $39 each way on Southwest, I jumped
on it, knowing it was nonrefundable and I also assumed it would be a
major hassle to change it.
Well, lately I've been thinking of my schedule, and not looking forward
of stumbling out of bed on Sunday, probably not in the best of shape,
checking out, and schlepping my stuff out to Midway on the train, so
just for the heck of it I phoned Southwest and asked how much it would
be to change the return date to Monday.
"No problem at all, just go to the web, pull up your reservation, and
change the return date. If there are seats available at that fare, no
extra charge."
So, I did just that, and found plenty of flights and plenty of seats
available for Monday at the low-ball fare. >>CLICK<<
>And that's also meant as an open invitation to Sunday Brunch at the Chop
>House to anybody who is staying over. Just get with me that weekend to
>firm up plans.
So, assuming the invitation is still open, yes, I *WILL* be joining you
at the Chicago Chop House on Sunday. :)
Looking forward ... :)
And ... kudos to Soutwest for having such a sane policy on this. :)
