I was actually checking air prices on the Southwest Airlines site when
just for grins I checked Chicago hotel prices for the Pinkfest dates and
was very surprised at some very good rates for some nice places.
Several decent places in the Downtown and River North area. $60-70-ish
at DI Gold Coast (nice) and the Cass (older but decent) and even do-able
prices at such places as the Raphael (Water Tower area), the Palmer
House (hoity-toity) and the Lenox.
Up north a bit (Lakeview area) there's the DI on Diversey and City
Suites on Belmont in the $60-80-ish range.
Several more downtown and near-downtown places.
Good air prices too. I'm tempted to jump on it now!
