I think the priority this year was for more quality social time, just
to enjoy life and each others' company, to chit-chat, to bond, etc.
As I think back to our discussions and our vote, we were close to being
split as to preferring Hunters Dance Club or the Chicago bars for a
Saturday night thing. It appeared to me that none of the people who
were so enthusiastic for Hunters actually showed up.
From a personal standpoint, I have not been into the loud dance
club scene for over 15 years. I definitely preferred more quiet
entertainment. Yeah, I'm getting old. :) :(

I was over at the River North Hotel, a few blocks W and N of you.
Our largest contingent was at the Quality Inn just west of the loop.

I was equally impressed with Ann Sathers. I think some of the others
would have preferred more of a steak house type place, but I enjoyed
AS's. Maybe we can try Chicago Chop House next year.

I would agree. I got in Thursday evening and went out to the Grand
Victoria casino. I lost $30 very quickly. :(

This surprises me. :(
I did notice that there seemed to be a number of drunks walking (and
driving -- ouch) around the River North area late at night.
