Everybody has to make the choice again this year as they did last year,
between lower hotel rates in the burbs and convenience of the city.
Two of our people who stayed out by O'Hare last year got their Baptism
By Fire<tm> regarding Chicago traffic and will probably stay in town
this year.
I still don't know where I'm staying, but I'm leaning toward in town.
I have stayed in a number of places in the Chicago suburbs, like Super-8
and Econo-Lodge out by ORD, and Baymont by Midway and down in Chicago
Heights. All are decent, but are away from the action.
I've also stayed at the Hyatt Regency on Wacker and the Holiday Inn City
Center multiple times. Those are both very nice. HICC was showing over
$200 so I did not mention it in the last mailing.
I'm also gonna try to catch one of the TA's and see what they recommend.
