Checking quickly with Hotel Discounts (www.hoteldiscounts.com) here are
some downtown Chicago hotels and the prices quoted this afternoon.
I've limited these to rooms priced less than $200 per nite. If you want
to spend more, there are tons of places that will take your $$$$$.
Hyatt Regency $109 (I've stayed there, nice place, good price.)
Claridge $129
Travelodge $89 (Grant park area)
Quality Inn Downtown $169 (West of Loop)
BW River North $139
Red Roof Inn $99 (Near where we ate last year)
Hampton Inn $159
Seneca $139
Palmer House $189 (Where Bunny stayed last year)
I did not see Hilton Gardens in there. I dunno if they are sold out or
they don't book thru hoteldiscounts.com.
One thing to note is that in downtown Chicago, parking is extra at
almost all hotels.
If anybody else has good prices on hotels in the area, please speak up.
