Wrapping things up:

If there's anything that anyone has that needs attention prior to our
break and transition to the 2016-2017 ORG team, please get it in ASAP.

Please don't forget your photos! We're still waiting for a couple of
you who have larger batches of photos to send. Thanks. :)

Of all of our recent years, this year's event appeared to run the most
smoothly. Unless anyone has any pressing business which needs to be
taken care of prior to adding the new volunteers, we'll wind things down
here and take an ORG list break until around the first of July.

Our 2016 attendee survey is complete and the results are now on line in
two sections. Most areas did show a slight to significant improvement
over last year, and everyone who helped organize this year's event gets
credit where credit is due! Thanks again to all volunteers!

Cleaning up the ORG list:

The "Big Four" free email providers are cracking down even more on bulk
mailings, and that means that we need to have current documented proof
on file that those who receive our bulk emails have explicitly requested
them.

Everyone who is on this list who did NOT attend this year's event who
receive their ORG mailing using aol.com (and associated domains),
gmail.com, hotmail.com (and associated domains) and yahoo.com will soon
receive an email asking you to please confirm your desire to continue
receiving this DLV Volunteer mailing list.

If you receive one of these messages and DO want to keep receiving these
mailings, simply reply to it and state that you wish to remain on the
list.

If you receive one of these mailings and DO NOT want to keep receiving
these mailings, you can either reply and state that you wish to be taken
off the list, or simply ignore the mailing and any subsequent reminders.

If you receive one of these mailings and DID attend, most likely it's a
case where your email address on the registration does not match the
email address that you use for this list. If this is the case, please
reply as per the two paragraphs above.

Sorry I missed it this year. I had intended to attend, but woke up a bit
later than I had intended to. Too much celebration the night before. :)

You may have noticed in the survey responses that we had two cases where
the attendees got lost in transit to The Center. One apparently got lost
by the airport (?????) and the other had a taxi driver who apparently
could not find The Center. We may want to be a bit more explicit in the
venue details on the schedule if this is repeated next year.
