EHM folks? Do we want either a formal vote or an informal plebiscite
regarding the theme of the EHM affair this coming year? Please let us
know one way or another.

Beading Party:

Cami writes:

My wife and I used to own a bead store and have a ton of inventory left
that we are liquidating.

I was thinking of maybe having a beading party where we can get together
and the girls can make some necklaces, bracelets or anklets from the
inventory I have. We can do it during the day, we just need a location.

I would be willing to do it at my cost. Girls can pick what they want
and it wouldn't be too expensive. Could be a fun afternoon. We can bring
some wine and have some fun and certainly some laughs. At the end of the
bead party they would have a beautiful necklace or whatever. Feel free
to throw it out there for some comments.

You can also mention that some of us are going to Vegas for Halloween
and if anyone wants to join us they can contact me. Hope you are all
well. Look forward to seeing everyone next spring.

In all of our history, I can't remember any type of "crafty" activity
ever! I think it would work well for a low-key participative afternoon
type of thing.

As to where, I might suggest contacting any of several clubs who might
let you use their space just for the incidental bar business. I think
the room to the right front at Goodtimes would work well. Another one
might be the new Club Metro, now in the 1000 E. Sahara place used by
Keys/Zingers/Crewsn.

Welcome Celebration status:

Our ad-hoc Welcome Celebration Team has been exchanging e-mail over
the past two weeks and here is where things stand.

Conversation is ongoing but no decisions have been made.

A few members of the team will be meeting in Las Vegas over Halloween
and doing a site visit to both Buca di Beppo and Firefly Paradise.
Actual planning will be in somewhat of a holding pattern until this
occurs.

Buca di Beppo and Firefly Paradise are the only venues being considered
at this time. Others will be considered if and only if neither of these
work out.

A report will be made shortly after the site visit occurs.
