Resuming planning:
Yes, it's been a few weeks since our last ORG mailing.
This is still our "slow" season, but now is the time to
start making our plans.
We seem to have agreement on a basic strategy. We now
need to build upon it.
I've seeded the schedule and the ORG mailings from this
day forward will include the working schedule. As you
can see, it's in a very early stage. Very few, if any
items can be said to be set in stone as of this time.
For those who are planning various activities of all
types, please look over the schedule and select what
you would like as a timeslot.
Much of this mailing has to do with the Meet-And-Greet,
currently planned for Tuesday of DLV week, and what we
can do now that our planned venue is no longer. Please
be thinking of options for what is one of our very most
important functions.

Is anybody out there?

It's been slow, organizationally speaking, and I've kind of
been wound up with Pinkfest and such.
We will be getting things moving here, since we have hotel
selections to do prior to December, and we are now at a
point at which we can start to build out the schedule.
What you (and everyone) can do to liven things up is to
look over the prenatal version of the schedule and select
days and times for things you're doing such as Charles Bar,
Famous Daves, Shooting, and anything else you want to do.

Welcome gathering venue:

You know the venue better than I do. My guess was that
it would be on the edge for a gang of 100, and since
you mentioned food, their kitchen and server capacity
will probably be less than that at the Blue Ox.

If you could check this out I know it would be appreciated.
In fact I'm wondering if some of the closed Blue Ox's staff
has been absorbed into other BO's throughout the Valley.

The travel distance is a factor to be considered, but it's
still within reason.
Thanks, Nora. :)

Rocky Horror and Meet and Greet:

Thanks, Marisa.
Ok, gang, Rocky Horror (assuming it's still playing on the
17th/18th.) is up for adoption. This is an easy one. Easy
ticket to voting status. All you really have to do is be
there!
Any takers?
Although this could possibly be no-host, since it would be
very early in the DLV sequence of things, I do think we need
a conspicuous DLV volunteer presence if it is to be placed
on the DLV schedule.

That could work. I think it would be nice to have a three-part
(HH-Din-M&G) large opening function, it could be broken up.
I do think that for maximum turnout, we should try to get all
three parts sequentially in the same venue.
