Activity Deadlines:

Diva Las Vegas 2008 is now less than eight weeks out!!

Crunch time is now in sight, and activities need to be scheduled
and solidified, with some deadlines applied.

Activity sign-ups begin in about four weeks, April 1. We need to
firm up tentative plans for the activities that are scheduled,
and get activities in place for any open timeslots.

We still have open timeslots on Wednesday evening, Friday evening,
and Saturday afternoon.

Also, I'd like everyone to look at the schedule and see if there are
time crunches between any currently scheduled activities.

For the coordinators of the currently scheduled activiites, the time
is now to make insure that your activities are solid.

For those who have coordinated activities in the past, it's now time
to step up and "do your thing".

Remembering that sign-ups begin April 1, the deadline is now March
31 where the major activities need to be solid.

Also, the same deadline applies for any other activity that we need
to fill in any the open spaces, or two-track an existing activity.

Please consider the dates of April 1 through April 20 as "off limits"
for any significant additions or changes.

Activities that need clarification:

Jay,

A proposed shopping trip. We need to solidify a time.

Tuesday is your Lake Mead Boat Tour.

Glamour Boutique has their open house on Wednesday.

When would you like to schedule the shopping trip?

Lake Mead Boat Tour.

>occur on Tuesday April 22. More to come.

Jay,

You have this timeslot, being the first to volunteer. However,
you might want to discuss the proposed meeting time of 9 am at
Two Gals in Boulder City. Two Gals is 45 minutes from the Strip,
meaning an 8 am departure and a 6 am wake-up.

If the boat departs at noon, and breakfast takes about an hour,
we have about two hours of "wandering around" time. Perhaps
announcing a later rendezvous time, say around 10:00 am might
result in less fallout.
....

Dueling Pianos.

>Announcing late Friday at the South Point. The Del Mar
>Dueling Pianos. Performing from 1000 pm to 200 am in the

We appreciate your efforts and for volunteering to coordinate
this activity.

Due to the time of the show, and since it's Friday night, perhaps
we may want to two-track something for this night.

Paris Hotel:

Mary Beth proposed this show as a lower priced alternative to
LeReve at the Wynn, which was proposed by Jay.

The Limo Tour committee needs to coordinate with the ending of
whichever production show is placed on the schedule.

Mary Beth,

Can you give us the time when The Producers starts and ends on
Thursday nights?

Also, we need some feedback from all of the organizers on this
topic, please.
....

Mexican Food for EON:

>Are there at least seven other attendees who would be interested
>in an EON option at the Mexican restaurant Border Grill at
>Mandalay Bay.This is owned and operated by out lesbian chef

This is a venue proposed by Mary Beth.

Currently, we have no mexican restaurants on the schedule this
year.

Mary Beth,

We can place it on the schedule with your option of cancelling it
pending sign-ups.

Comments from all, please.

Upscale on Friday:

Diane writes:

If you mean the one on the top of the Stratosphere, that would be
a good choice with the caveat that it might be a challenge to
get a larger reservation at a popular time on a Friday.

There was a suggestion on the Discussion Forum that the Artisan
might fit the bill too.

I know that Annie is looking for a suitable "alternative" venue
to replace the now-closed Suede and was considering the Artisan,
but nothing definite has been decided. If you want to coordinate
a Friday dinner at Artisan, I don't think she will wrestle you
for the privilege. :)
