Mailings:

Sorry about the tardiness of the Org mailings recently. I've had
issues with a server, but everything is now resolved.

Things should be much more consistent as we move forward to DLV 2008.

Due to the above mentioned computer problems, some of the items
posted today are dated, but should bring everyone up to speed.

Thanks for putting this together for us, Mindy.

We all appreciate the work you, Nora, and all of the other
local DLV organizers put forth toward the success of DLV.

The High Tea has become one of the icons of DLV. It is an
acitvity that allows attendees to dress up in an upscale
venue and atmosphere.

Thanks to Jamie Renae for volunteering to coordinate the High Tea.

Thanks for volunteering to be the coordinator of our "greeting
committee".

I agree that a warm and friendly greeting can make a huge difference in
an attendees attitude toward DLV.

Having senior organizers present will also help in getting our first time
volunteer assistant greeters comfortable about being involved with an
activity.

Last year, the job of registrar was done by "committee". So now, there are
several of us who know how hard that position is.

Annie has volunteered to organize a group of senior and first time
volunteers to act as greeters. This should make your job as Registrar of
DLV easier.
