DLV 2008 Planning and Scheduling:
We are coming to the end of the slow time of planning and working
the schedule for DLV 2008. In the next few months, we will be
nominating the suggested hotels, firming up the venues, and filling
in holes in the activity schedule. All leading to the most exciting
time of the year for us -- gathering in Las Vegas for DLV 2008!
Also in the next few months, we will be contacting the those who have
volunteered to "help in any way I can". For those who are first time
volunteers, it will become very rewarding to know your efforts played
a big role in the success of DLV 2008. Especially if you activity
becomes a "must do". :)
We also need to continue with the "outside the box" thinking about
fun and different activities.
One that was suggested: A contest to see who's wig stays on the
longest during the roller coaster ride at Primm. :)
Perhaps we could allow hoodies and scarves. :) Any takers?
Other ideas?

Annie's point about the potential attendee base for DLV having
limited time, money, and other family/business matters is well
taken. I'd rather the pep talks for T* events be centered around
DLV 2008. :)
