This is the usual weekly mailing.

This contains the non-timeframe items that have come in over the last
week or so.
. . . . .

One item that has been delayed, but we don't want to delay any more
than it needs to be, is that of the suggested hotels. So far we have
the Imperial Palace and the Sahara in nomination.

I would like to take the vote on our suggested hotels just as soon as
our timeframe vote is complete, which I expect to happen in the very
first part of December.

Do we have any other nominations for suggested hotels for DLV 2006.

I think that the best place to test the water for something like this
would be right here.

Is there interest in such an activity?

Comments, gang?

Thanks, Edy.

If we do reschedule DLV 2006, our first evening may very well be Monday
instead of Sunday, so this may indeed work out quite well.

It could also be a second-track item just about any evening except for
a Sunday.

I'm holding off on any schedule additions or changes until our timframe
is final, since there will be a mass-reshuffling of everything should we
have something other than beginning on Sunday and ending on Saturday,
so after that's done we can find an appropriate place on the schedule
for this.

I sure wish I had known that Tiny and sidekick were appearing in this
a few weeks ago since I was staying at the Sahara and I could have
seen if I thought the group would like it.

Startrek and funeral:

I haven't heard any desire to kill your funeral. It's on the calendar
now, and my guess is that it will retain its place should a Grand
Reshuffling occur.

Funeral or not, the Startrek trip would probably have a good
following. All it really takes is for somebody to be there to show a
recognizable face and possibly hold a few hands.
