This one is listed in late May with an estimated attendance of 34,000
and even that is not one of the larger ones.
Conferences and trade shows in the 10,000 to 50,000 range occur almost
weekly. Networld+Interop is estimated at 20,000 this year. These ones
don't normally drive up room rates unless several occur together.
It's the huge ones, 80,000 - 100,000 or more, that do. Comdex used to be
the worst, but that's dead, at least for the time being. NAB is one of
the largest, MAGIC is another, CES is another. None of these others are
close to DLV.
