This mailing:

A number of issues here in this mailing. Overall, I think we're doing a
great job of getting these loose ends tied up. I think we can safely say
that within the next week or so, the frequency and length of these
mailings will decrease and all of us can get on with our individual
plans for DLV.

Sarajayne ... Is anybody in contact with her. Her e-mail is bouncing with
user unknown. Is she still in the LV area?

A couple more votes have come in, nothing which comes close to changing
the outcome of either decision.

If anybody REALLY wants to see the text of the late ones, please let me
know.

Just got a report in feedback that Sahara is now wanting $119 for Friday
and Saturday the 3rd. and 4th. That's two hikes in the past few weeks.
This is a sure sign they are filling up and may be sold out shortly. I
hope everybody on this list has their travel and accommodations booked
as of this time.

Point well taken. Just to be precise on activity naming:

Blonde Hair Day is simply an all-day (or all-evening) novelty option to
suggest to our people to go blonde for what would otherwise be our
normal activities, such as the Welcome Celebration, Karaoke, and Pajama
Party. There's really no start or stop time for going blonde, as some
are planning to do it all evening, some all day, and some have no choice
but to do it all the time. :)

What we have scheduled for that afternoon is the Hidden Woman Open House,
which starts at 1:00pm, with optional wig styling instruction at 2:00pm.

This is drop-in, drop-out as you wish, anytime, spending as little or
as much time as you want. If you do the wig styling thing, that will
probably take about an hour, giving a full five hours after to play or
leisurely change, before you would have to worry about being fashionably
late for the Welcome Celebration.

>Personally, I plan to have a fabulous time at that function as
>I plan to wear my Marilyn outfit; the one she wore in the movie,
>"Seven Year Itch - the famous subway grate photo.

That sounds fabulous. A good photo-op might be to go over to NYNY and
pose by some of the street facades there. I don't think they have any
authentic subway grates, but I know they have simulated steam lines and
some almost-authentic street scenes. And, when the coaster runs thru the
building, it sure sounds like the IRT Express. :)

Well, we certainly want to avoid pandemonium and panic in the streets.
:-)

When you say blonde hair affair, if you're talking about the Hidden
Woman Open House, that has already been re-scheduled to start earlier
than originally planned, but that is really a sales (and instructional)
thing for HW, and not any kind of a blonde hair affair, except that some
people may be going blonde that day, or may purchase blonde wigs or
learn how to style them. :)

Hopefully, in the spirit of Blonde Hair Day, people will choose to wear
blonde hair all day and all night, so you'll have plenty of chances to
show off your luxurious locks.

Hole in the schedule:

As I was making the tweaks to our schedule, I noticed one hole that we
have possibly overlooked ...

+May 03 Fri Morning Golf (See notes about golf mailing list)
+ Afternoon Dinner
+ Evening Annual Mixer
+ Late Night Dance Night

Looking at Friday, we don't have anything for the non-golfers before
dinner. Do we wanna put something in here? Maybe something touristy,
as it seems like the only touristy thing here is the trip to Valley
Of Fire on Sunday? Maybe Liberace Museum? Stratosphere Tower (if this
is the case, I will wait on solid ground), Hoover Dam?

Comments? Suggestions? (Volunteers?)

Ok, if anybody has any objection to Icon (is it Icon or Ikon?) being the
meeting/staging place for those not going to MFB after La Cage, please
speak now or forever ...

but no, I have never been to a large-scale fetish/fantasy thing either.

Same here. As I said, I may have $15 worth of curiosity, I may have
another option that seems better, or I may be so fried after 5 days of
DLV, that I want to simply crash after the show. I dunno. I do want to
keep options open. My main reason for attending would be to
people-watch. :)

I know more or less what it's about, but not specifically. I'm certainly
not the one to write a detailed description, but I do think something
more than what I said in the latest mailing (which was just copying
what Leah sent in) should be said.

Anybody out there who has experience with these things wanna write maybe
100-200 words or so? Volunteers?

I take this to mean that the room we would use for the Thursday
reception is booked and we will have to slide our potential reception
later in time. Am I correct? Do you know what times will be available
to us?

Ok, thanks, Leah. I think we're in agreement that we do want a second-track
